Lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone, who i had never heard of to be honest until now, has faced a massive social media backlash after her appearance on Good Morning Britain after claiming she "Loves" having OCD as it can be good for her business.

"Michelle Mone believes she has OCD for over a decade but has never been officially diagnosed" It is said at the start of the interview, many OCD sufferers are suffering without being diagnosed so i think hhhmmmm i won't judge just yet.

"But i love having it, makes me really organised" She says

Susanna Reid goes on to make a very good point by saying "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder can involve intrusive thoughts, alot of anxiety and panic, quite negative experiences, how can you be sure that what you are experiencing is the same disorder?"

Michelle Mone answers by describing how when she had it really bad 10 years ago she would often go around organising other peoples homes and basically taking over how things were arranged, and rejecting crumbled up £5 notes that maybe given to her.

So far in my eyes this is NOT OCD unless theres some huge fear she is not letting us on to as to what she feels may happen if she didn't rearrange other peoples things or take that crumbled up note?

Then they go on about her going into the house of lords and totally non OCD related issues so it was more of a very brief insight compared to a serious interview which is what i was expecting to be.

So Michelle Mone unless theres alot you was letting on, you do not suffer from OCD you are a perfectionist, of course i appreciate there are alot of OCD sufferers whos form of OCD involves organising, cleaning etc but they never enjoy it or love it nobody enjoys being ill do they?

It was a very ignorant interview how Good Morning Britain felt letting someone who wasn't even diagnosed with OCD claim they have it was already a terrible idea and on a week for OCD awareness it is a very sad thing to see, will ITV care? NO

Perfectionists VS OCD sufferers involving checking, cleaning, arranging are 2 COMPLETELY different things and lets look at a few obvious differences

Perfectionists get a sense of satisfaction having things just so, OCD sufferers only get a temporary sense of relief

Perfectionists may get a little stressed out when they cant get something just so or be in control, OCD sufferers will have it take over there lives and it will effect there mood and behaviour involving things totally unrelated to whatever they are trying to get "Just so"

And finally no OCD sufferer "Loves having it" infact it is the total opposite they would very much love to be without it.
